About Us
HIGHLAND HOME is a local family-run Farm that has been producing organic products since 1993. We are proud to tend to our nurseries, orchards, fields and livestock with the most eco-responsible and sustainable methods available.
We are committed to sustainable, organic and biodynamic farming methods and practices that ensure the best quality produce.
Who We Are
For the past four decades, Temba and Charity Muyambo have been farming and managing Highland Home Farms. An estate that began as a coffee estate has evolved to one of the largest avocado and macadamia nuts producers in Zimbabwe.
Highland Home Farm is located in the beautiful Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, in Chipinge. It boasts of visual feasts of forests, orchards, fynbos and livestocks, sparsed over 1000 hectares.
Originally the farm was a coffee estate, that farmed and processed one of the best coffee in Zimbabwe. In late 2000's the farm transitioned to avocados, pecan nuts and macadamia nuts. Today the estate includes a nursery production for avocado, pecan and macadamia nuts, as well as a processing plant for macadamia nuts.
We are also proud of our livestock production, we specialise in Boer brown head goats and Ewes, which make part of our diverse eco-systems and biodynamic farming.
